Framing the Red
Framing the Red
Framing The Red is a Southern Rock n Roll band that is taking the national music scene by storm. They are not trying to get their foot in the door of opportunity, they are knocking it down. For a band that has only been together and touring for a little over 3 years, each and every member has the talent and can put on a show that any onlooker would think this was a seasoned band that has been touring for years. Framing The Red promises to deliver a show like none other, grabbing their audiences and bringing everyone to their feet with catchy riffs, great lyrics, and high impact live stage show that people will continue to talk about!

In 2010, Framing The Red started with five guys straight out of the heart of the southern United States. During the first year and a half the band went through line up changes, recorded their first E.P., and began touring the nation hoping to make Framing The Red a household name! The bands first single “A.O.” gained mass popularity across the south beginning with a local station (Rock 93.7) out of Lafayette, La spinning the single on a constant rotation. After the release of their self titled E.P., which produced 2 radio singles “A.O” and “Lay Down Beside Me” the band set back and began writing what would become their freshman album “Welcome To The Show”.

In August of 2012, Framing The Red released their debut album "Welcome To The Show" producing three radio singles off the freshman album, along with a video release of the third single "Country Band Man". Framing The Red has had the privilege of sharing the stage with such bands as Motley Crue, Sevendust, Black Stone Cherry, Cavo, Rains, Alien Ant Farm, Sevendust, Pop Evil, Hurt, Smile Empty Soul, Lynam, 10 Years, and festivals such as Rocklahoma and Sturgis just to name a few! Framing The Red is the next “big thing”, this band embraces Rock ’N Roll at its finest and is a firm truth that Rock ‘N Roll is not dead…

Tyler and Kim met in 2011 and rapidly fell in love through music. After moving to Hawaii and playing in a blues rock band for several years, the duo moved back to mainland USA and traveled the contiguous 48 in search of a new home and a place to begin pursuing their musical dreams. On the long journey to Colorado in a beat up camper van, theKITYproject was born, initially with just Kim and Tyler. It has since evolved and now manifests as a five piece ensemble.
In their short time together, theKITYproject has been selected to play in two major events in Fort Collins: FoCoMX: Fort Collins Music eXperiment and Cohere Bandwidth’s Listening Party at the Downtown Artery. Justin Bank
Justin Bank
Justin Bank might pose a bit of a conundrum for music writers who like to put singer-songwriters and their bands in neat “categories" or genres.

There are a few descriptive phrases, however, that definitely fit the bill when it comes to this seasoned musician: He's a gifted singer, songwriter and guitarist with a quirky-yet-infective sense of humor; and his updated roots-rock-flavored music has a broad variety of influences, but they all feel like, well, home.

That's because his lyrics tell stories of people you know, places you've been and situations you've likely witnessed — with a lyrical flow and feel that will remind you of a classic story-song, but featuring a decidedly "Americana” thread running throughout.

And if you're like most fans of good songwriting and classic country and perhaps grew up on the likes of Johnny Cash, Townes Van Zandt, Big Star, the Velvet Underground and many others, you will likely be drawn in by the sounds of Bank's music, with its energetic, vintage-rock, back-to-basics feel. These tunes will inspire you and make you want to dance, take a train and soak in the scenery, or drive down that country highway just a little faster —with the top down and the stereo blaring.

It's that kind of movement and inspiration that has taken Bank and his former band mates in such groups as Southern-born SFZ, Free Love Virgins and the Royal Electric, as well as Colorado's The Beauregards to stages across the country.

A 2007 Rotary International scholarship and ensuing tour throughout Eastern France was the catalyst that drove Bank to begin playing various music venues in earnest after a multiple year hiatus from the music business. Since moving to Northern California in 2012 he is now expanding out from his Southern home to build a fan base throughout the Pacific Northwest with his ever increasing band of experienced and talented musicians.
