Old Soul Era
Old Soul Era
Old Soul Era has been producing and recording music in Denver, CO for the past 3 years. Producer/Lyricist Anthony Morales and Lyricist Jake Howard have been trying to change the perception of hip-hop by combining hip-hop production with indie rock values and ideas. Anthony brings a sound that is very much influenced by jazz and soul, J. Howard brings powerful abstract lyrics and when combing the two it results in a poetic display of something real and raw. Knowledge and the awareness of self is a main theme of the poetry and samples in the music engaging the listener to not only enjoy the sounds, but to also stimulate pineal thoughts of the reality that surrounds our every day lives. Old Soul Era is not for passive listeners who use their ears but for the ones who use their souls to listen.
Two Faces West
Two Faces West
Two Faces West is a crankin' electric rock & blues band that was founded in the small, beautiful mountain town of Gunnison, Colorado. The group established a tight power trio over their years at Western State Colorado University, with a goal of sharing there unique rockin’ mountain sound with the world. TFW has made their presence well-known on the Western Slope, playing in many cities throughout the mountains of Western Colorado. Their music is described as a fiery blend of rock & blues, which focuses on the roots of blues while expressing its core in pure rock’n’roll.

They recorded and released their first self-produced EP titled "Gunni Town Blues" on May 9th 2015. It tells their musical story of life in a bittersweet mountain town. Now residing in the Mile High City, the eclectic power trio has continued spreading their music to the masses and is exploding into the Colorado music scene. Two Faces West is Kurt Ashmore on Guitar, Vocals, & Saxophone, Mick Knudsen on Drums, & Caden Kramer on Bass.
Mad Wallace
Mad Wallace
Since graduating from Colorado College in the spring of 2017, Mad Wallace has begun working their way into the Denver music scene. A blend of engaging songwriting, musical technicality, and improvisation built them a loyal fanbase in the Colorado College music scene and now continues to do so beyond as they continue to play more and build who they are as a band.
King Friday the 13th
King Friday the 13th
KingFriday the 13th is a 6-piece exploratory jam rock group out of Denver, CO. On drums, Jay Van Kleeck brings a serious groove to the table, drawing influences from Chris Adler to Dennis Chambers. He provides a solid backbone to each jam with his pocket, and is the ever-present anchor to the music. His partner in crime is bassist Zach Martin. Zach was brought up by two classical working musicians in Rhode Island orchestras, and has been playing in various outfits all his life. His musical relationship with Jason provides the base layer for thoughtful, tactfully-constructed improvisation. Ryley is the death punch of the band. His searing, razor tone is pulled from a strong (and somewhat creepy) Frank Zappa influence. His lead playing stands out and offers incredible peaks and valleys for each piece. Davey Jones plays rhythm guitar and provides vocals. He writes many of the lyrics, set to Ryley’s compositions. He is also stunningly handsome and may blind people if stared at directly for too long.

The band met via a serendipitous stroke of luck. Having moved to Colorado a few months earlier with the intention of joining the local music community, Davey was sitting at work one day and randomly hopped on Craigslist in search of like-minded musicians. He responded to an ad Jason and Ryley had put up not 10 minutes before, so they spoke and decided to meet up. Davey then brought in Zach to the mix (since they were friends and had been in bands together at UVM) As a 4-piece, the band recorded 2 times: 1 demo in November 2015 at The Decibel Garden in Denver, and The Demo(lition) EP at The Keep in Denver, in September 2016.

After searching for keyboardists for some time (and even having one that played only one show with them), Davey found Aaron through Colorockstars and they instantly knew he was a great fit given his style, influences, and musical taste. They then began searching for a percussionist. Cue Shane Oltmanns, who responded to a social media ad posted by the band. After several rehearsals and a few great shows, he was asked to join the band full-time, which completed the lineup.
