Founded in 2010, The Littleton Conservatory of Rock provides students participating in private guitar, drum, bass and vocal lessons to take their lessons to the next level, performing together in a rock band setting.

Starting with one concert in 2010, the Conservatory's concert schedule has grown to several concerts throughout the year.

Our choice of songs in the rock band program spans the entire timeline of the rock genre. From The Beatles to Avenged Sevenfold, Buddy Holly to Pink Floyd, to our unique takes on timeless classics like Cyndi Lauper's Time After Time and Johnny Cash's Ring Of Fire. Whether performing songs as diverse as Led Zeppelin’s What Is and What Should Never Be to the Foo Fighters’ The Pretender or Dream Theater’s Peruvian Skies, the students of The Conservatory of Rock work as a team towards the common goal of performing fun shows at local venues here in Colorado.

But our concerts are not limited to just rock.

What makes The Conservatory of Rock truly unique is our Acoustic Concert held every spring.
Our Acoustic Concert is primarily a classical concert, with music ranging from Renaissance composers John Dowland and Thomas Campion, to the Baroque music of J.S. Bach and G.F. Handel, to the great Spanish and Cuban composers Isaac Albeniz and Leo Brouwer, respectively. We don’t limit ourselves here either. In 2011, Conservatory guitarists performed Queen’s Bohemian Rhapsody arranged for guitar quartet. And in 2012, The Conservatory presented Beethoven’s Moonlight Sonata for guitar orchestra and six themes from Pirates of the Caribbean arranged for twenty-eight guitarists and three percussionists.

In 2010 and 2011, students from The Conservatory performed at the Colorado Art Rock Society’s annual Progfest.

2013 finds The Conservatory presenting its annual Acoustic Concert on Saturday, April 20th, its fourth year of the Summer Music Program and headlining our own show at The Clement Park Amphitheater on Saturday, August 17th. We are also a sponsor of Littleton's own Red, White and You festival at Clement Park on July 3rd.

The Conservatory of Rock is locally owned and operated by Todd Labo, a musician who has taught in the Littleton area for 20 years and lived in the local community for over 35.

At The Conservatory of Rock we offer no false promises and no gimmicks. Since we are locally owned and operated, all the money you spend with us stays right here in the Littleton community. The only guarantee we'll make is you’ll become a better musician while making new friends and above all else, HAVE FUN!!!!!
