Denver’s own Rock ‘N Roll juggernauts FORTH YEER have been kickin’ out the bad jams since 1997. The last ten yeers of insanity have culminated in their epic new release – ROCK YOUR BOX. “I’ll be damned if [the new FYF album] didn’t blow my skirt up around my uptight, TV On the Radio-loving ass” wrote one Dave Herrera, music editor for Village Voice Media.
FORTH YEER FRESHMAN’s eclectic musical palette is skillfully executed on this latest effort. Their infamous sense of humor has only become more potent with ROCK YOUR BOX and its eleven adrenaline-fueled, sexually deviant tracks.
The band’s critically acclaimed live show is an undeniable favorite amongst dive bar regulars and rock elitists alike. “[FYF] dishes out locker room humor sans jock strap, plus guitar strap… and wrap it up in a defiantly white trash ethic a la Nashville Pussy in a balls-to-the-wall bacchanal” – music critic John Zwick after seeing the band open for NYC legends Murphy’s Law. Their commanding presence on stage must truly be witnessed in person.
The FORTH YEER FRESHMAN track “Friend of Your Mom’s” will be featured in the new film DEADLY OBSESSION by Spin Cycle Films, currently in post production. This is the first in a series of licensing deals the band is pursuing. In the mean time, FORTH YEER FRESHMAN continues to tour excessively in an effort to spread the Less-Than-Christian Gospel of rock ‘n roll. So come forth all ye true believers and testify.
