Tomahawk Fox
Tomahawk Fox
The driving rhythms and timeless melodies of Americana folk rockers Tomahawk Fox make this band unlike any other in its genre. From Denver, Colorado, the band formed in 2012 when long time friends and lead guitarists/vocalists Mike and Brianna joined with Zach on bass and Joel Scanlon on the drums.

With musical roots in classic country and folk rock, their songs tread the line between indie-folk and indie-rock while exploring other genres to create a unique style of their own. A local favorite, Tomahawk Fox has headlined and sold out many venues across Denver, and will be recording there first full length album the summer of 2014. Denver music blogger Bearcules touts, "if you have even one romantic nerve ending in your body, you will fall head over heals for this band."
Lola Rising
Lola Rising
Lola Rising is a Colorado-based Indie Folk Island Rock Band comprising of Denver natives Paul Medina Guevara (lead vocals, guitar, ukulele), Woody Roberts (bass guitar, keys, vocals), Kevin Eady (electric guitar, vocals, ukulele), Matt Fink (drums, vocals, percussion), Sarah Joelle Hoffenberg (vocals, keys and percussion), and Joe Z (trumpet).

Inspired from a song Paul once wrote about the passing of his `Lola` (means Grandmother in Filipino), coupled with `Rising` evokes images of spirituality and embraces the human condition. Their dance-able rhythms, honest poetry, and smooth melodic multi-part harmonies makes their music familiar, fun, accessible, vivid, and thought-provoking.

In late 2013, Paul returned from an eight year stint in Japan and joined forces with life-long friends Kevin, Woody (formerly played in the Denver-based reggae/rock band Optimal Frequency), Matt (formerly of the Flash Mob), Sarah (trained Jazz vocalist), and Joe Z (also of Zagriculture).

From the depths of musty parking garages & gangsters in the Tokyo underworld; to fly-fishing the Animas River & crossing the Great Divide, everything inspires us; Lola is on the Rise.
The Humbuckers
The Humbuckers
One of Denver’s most exciting live bands, The Humbuckers never fails to get people up and dancing. With more than 25 shows under their belt at Herman’s Hideaway, The Humbuckers are road-tested Rock & Rollers with a high-octane set list and a V-8 delivery.

“They sound like the mix on my iPod” is a frequent comment you hear after seeing a Humbuckers show. They seamlessly roll songs from the 70s, 80s, 90s and 2000s into each other to create a tapestry of sound.

Founded in 2003 by guitarist Chuck Montera, their lineup includes Pamela Crawford on vocals, Classically trained Glenn Martin on bass, multi-instrumentalist Leslie Draper Roy on sax, flute and guitar and drummer Rick "Boom Boom" Samuels. Their originals are influenced by Punk and Grunge of the 80s/90s.

So next time you’re in Denver, stop by Herman’s Hideaway on south Broadway. You may be lucky enough to catch a Humbuckers show and maybe even share a beer or three with the band.
