Fronted by Jerry Harper (aka Tyfoid Jerry), a 6’5”, 285 lb pro-wrestling monster maniacal presence, who sings, screams, and entertains non-stop for this hard rock quartet out of Denver, Colorado. Tyfoid has the makings of a big act with a visual flair and a music style that's aggressive, abrasive, loud, and fun.
Their third album, "Quarantine", a special limited-run double CD set, is available now on Hapi Skratch Records and features a full spectrum of song styles from smash your face metal to engaging acoustic rock, to radio-ready hits that establish the band as something truly special. The band has received numerous awards and has sold several thousand copies of their first two releases, the 2001 debut CD "Symptoms" and the fall 2004 release "Nu Strain"

One Second After
After a failed attempt at something that could've been greater, Geoff Strickland, Dave Price and Jacob Nelson decided to move past the ashes of dreams burnt to the ground by others and press on to new territory. A territory that would allow them to reach to the extreme stretches of their imagination and capability. Geoff's intuitive leadwork is unmatched. The bends, the slides... They all have some way of just grabbing you. Jacob's perfect timing is unmatched, as well and his lead solo work. Dave is just Dave. Unwavering and always in the right place at the right time, with the right thing to say or do... Bring in Bill Peruti's "outside-of-the-box" rhythm point of view and you have a huge Musical section to back up the powerful vocals of Ron Whalen. Every one of the band members can tell you their musical influence, but not one of them can prepare you for the sound that you will hear when One Second After hits you...
