Bees With Guns
Bees With Guns is an Alternative rock group with an affinity for busy guitar riffs and obscure synth leads. After moving to Colorado in 2010, the patchwork group went to work adapting their sounds and styles to create a mix of 90’s rock, blues grooves and the occasional foray into synth shenanigans. That’s what they are Jim, I’m sorry, but that’s what they are.
At heart just four guys who love music and want to get on a stage again.
For the love of music, Sun-Dried Nanners (SDN) was formed with an emphasis on diversity in style. With influences such as Red Hot Chili Peppers, String Cheese Incident, Dispatch and Pink Floyd, we enjoy playing a good mix of originals and covers. Band members include:
Joel Doerer: Lead Vocals, Rhythm guitar
Matt Baumgardner: Lead guitar, back-up vocals
Mike Baker: Bass, back-up vocals
Tim Quist: Drums, Crowd Enthusiast
We would love your company so come out and enjoy some jams. Let us show you a good time, sun-dried nanner style.
Leung & The Wreck
Pulling from a dominant Rock/Blues background, Leung and The Wreck keep the traditional feel good music alive with modern twists to each song. Electric fast licks, break beats, precision funk bass, and stunning vocal wrasps engage audiences of many ranges. Drawing inspiration from Led Zeppelin, Primus, Ray Charles, The Temptations, Jimi Hendrix, and Parliament this up and coming band leaves people wondering where they have been hiding.
Barry Shapiro Band
BARRY SHAPIRO (vocals/guitar) the primary songwriter of the group, creates infectious songs captured on two acclaimed CDs, “In Remission” and “Beacon Street”, with a new one, called “Union Square”, on the way. Barry is best known for the quality of his rich, warm voice. His sound conveys curiosity, energy and joy which are elevated by a rhythmic guitar and soulful harmonica. As a traveling musician, Barry has been featured on stage at The Bitter End in New York City, The Elbo Room in Chicago and The Highliner in Seattle. Closer to home, Barry has opened at the Boulder Theater, headlined at The Walnut Room with his Beacon Street Band in Denver, and has been featured on CATV’s Friday Night Live.
