EPO (Emergency Pullout)
EPO (Emergency Pullout)
Emergency Pullout hails from Denver, Colorado where a young music scene has been born. From this new scene bands like The Fray, 3oh!3, The Flobots, Devotchka, and Tickle Me Pink have put Denver on the map. While other multi-platinum artists like One Republic and Rise Against call Denver a second home. Denver is now in the spotlight to bring more great music to the world. Emergency Pullout (or EPO for short) is ready to take on the task and has been working hard making name for themselves in the Mile High City. Playing the cities best local music venues like the legendary Herman's Hideaway and the new local favorite Moe's Original BBQ and Bowling, being featured on 93.3 KTCL's Local's Only Radio Show, playing with up and coming national acts like Warner Drive and Tommy and the High Pilots, and being selected to play in Westword's Best of the West Competition. EPO has been hailed as one of the most original bands by making their own style of funk/rock with a touch of blues and a hint of soul that can best be described as music that makes you want to dance. Their self-produced debut EP "Your Future Depends On It" available on itunes and local record stores in Denver has people abuzz about a great new sound. The members of EPO have known each other since high school and have been in various projects throughout the years but came together with their desire to make great music in 2009. Tyler Munkres brings the beats on the drums, Erik Smiley funks it up on the bass, Eric Sturgeon lays down the intricate guitar melodies, and Dan Hammermiester soothes the soul with his passionate voice. Together they are Emergency Pullout, the best thing to happen since the state since gave you your medical marijuana card.
Nine Tenths of the Law
Nine Tenths of the Law
9/10 of the Law is one of those hard working bands you just have to respect the hell out of. They have been in the Denver metal scene smackin around their tunes for exactly 4 years now. Over those four years they have played hundreds of shows and developed their sound from being just another straight Pantera clone band into a more diverse metal band with songs that range from Soulfly to Super Joint Ritual to even Lollipop Lust Kill.

Over the four years of their existence there have been the usual line up changes bands deal with but the current roster seems to be a very solid unit with Jacob Althoff on vocals and guitars, Anthony Esposito on bass, Shannon Bogguess on guitars and Scott Smith hitting the drums. It is with this line up that 9/10 of the Law has hit it's stride opening up for national after national including such weirdly diverse acts as White Lion, Snot, and Fear. Now if that isn't a testament to how wide of a sound range 9/10 of the Law has I don't know what would be. Snot is just plain distilled badassery, Fear is the epitome of old school gutter punk, and White Lion is 80's power ballad hair rock. Not a lot of bands can pull off holding the interest of crowds as different as punks in a circle pit to cougars on girls’ night out. Somehow 9/10 of the Law pulls it off.

9/10 of the Law has definitely become one of the integral moving parts in the Denver metal machine not only with all their hardcore fans but also with all the other bands they work with. Althoff has been a major player on the booking scene for years and is one of the reasons the Denver metal scene is more united than most other cities of this size. He even booked my crappy punk band a few years back on the now legendary night when the Mongols (The motorcycle club not the citizens of Mongolia) decided to check out the show. That was a whole heaping spoonful of good times and it was the first time I noticed Jacob can't be rattled. The dude's a machine. Which probably helps with his current career choice at the venue I consider the coolest place this side of the sun: Club Inferno. If Club Inferno would let me I would move in.

9/10 of the Law has released 2 CDs so far over their career: A four song demo in January 2006 and a six-song recording in 2008. They are currently working on the material for a new CD to recorded and released here shortly. But the real power of this band is in the live show. These guys know how to really play and the vocals are way beyond the range of the endless Cookie Monster sessions most bands are using as a crutch these days. 9/10 of the Law plays out on a constant basis all over Denver. So whether you are a cougar or a gutter punk or anything in between if you are up for a solid good time with a wicked metal band that knows how to deliver the good times... go get you some. Check their Myspace for dates.
Crash
Crash
CRASH originated as a covert goverment program involving various high ranking musicians and experimental amplification technology allegedly reverse engineered from alien technology during the mid to late 1960s.
The names/ranks of numerous past and present CRASH participants may have been classified to protect their identities and to insure the continued prosperity of the human race, the free world and planet Earth as we know it.
All INTERWEB connections to CRASH origins are routed through overseas phantom 'ghost' servers resulting in absolute untraceability.
CRASH has been fighting an ongoing clandestine war against the serendipitous powers that be (TPTB)for over 3 decades.
Mobilized in high tech stealth surveillence vehicles and body armor, CRASH, still to this day, continues to infiltrate local "ROCK" venues under the cover of night, employing the loudest, highly portable and most advanced weaponized amplification technology to effectivly stun, mesmorize and bewilder even the most seasoned highly trained club dwellers. Some speculate that CRASH members may be a series of incredibly lifelike artificially intelligent bio-mechanical-cybernetic replicants sent from the future, DO NOT BELIEVE THIS NOTION!, It is only a disinformation based conspirisy theory designed to confuse and disorient! Dont bother looking for CRASH or any CRASH related activities in your community, you wont find them or any evidence of their presence, past or present. CRASH will arrive at dive bar near you when you least expect it and systematicly leave their vibrant, chaotic, hypnotizing brand of ROCK & ROLL emblazend in your mind's eye, possibly forever.
You did'nt see us!, We were never here! This REVERBNATION Artist BIO will self destruct in 5 seconds....goodbye brave reader...and good luck!

The A-Ok's
The A-Ok's
Combining the energetic, rebellious, horn-driven noise of 90’s Ska and Pop-Punk with modern Punk and Alternative, The A-OKs are a seven piece powerhouse from Denver, CO. Locally acclaimed, The A-OKs are known for their non-stop dance and mosh-fueled shows where the party doesn’t stop on stage or on the dance floor until the lights go out. They have toured, twice, across the west coast to play main stage at Pamona, California’s Ska in the Park festival and are acknowledged nationally for playing with many established and big name acts. They’ve conquered the underground scene in the west and plan to head North for a Canadian and East Coast tour in 2011.

After countless EPs and Demos, The A-OKs released their first, self-licensed and produced, full length album, Words Are Not For Eating in 2010 to a celebrated response.
BE LIKE MAX
BE LIKE MAX

The Brixton Guns
The Brixton Guns
They describe their music as “pop with nuts. Influenced by pop-punk bands like Green Day, as well as the original punk sounds of The Clash, The Brixton Guns aim for a controversial sound and feel to their music. Their name comes from a song by The Clash called “The Guns of Brixton,” about the police violence and race riots in the southern district of London during April 1981.“The band handles every aspect of their music themselves, from promotion to recording. They recently started their own record label called Four Degree Records, on which they plan to record and release their music. “Music has become so boring,” said Brubaker, expressing a disdain for dubstep and other popular music. The Brixton Guns hope to take their own unique spin on the still-popular punk rock genre and change the way people listen to music.
