This ride ain't a vintage Cadillac. This is a souped-up hot rod with bulletproof glass, a modern chassis and a shiny new engine. The perfect vehicle for a life of crime and musical performances born of sin.
The Blackouts

Ali -lead vocals/guitar
Kate -lead guitar/vocals
Susan-bass/vocals
Hope - drums/vocals

The Blackouts are a Denver based all female hard rock band. They began as a garage punk band in 2008, organized by British guitar player Kate Innes. Innes is defined by her unrestrained, raw, and in your face guitar playing. She was introduced to native Denver guitar player Ali Frankfurt, who after two years replaced the original singer. Frankfurt's aggressive vocal style has been compared to Bon Scott of AC/DC, transforming The Blackouts sound. In late 2011, Susan Phelan joined the band on bass. Phelan has played in numerous projects, where she plays a multitude of styles. Her ability and experience has transcended The Blackouts to a new level. California drummer Hope Bertsch was discovered through an advertisement, whose style and experience became the solid backbone of this foursome. The chemistry is undeniable and the band continues to work relentlessly! Today they are rockin' harder than ever with an aggressive and driving sound, reminiscent of bands like Motorhead, L7, AC/DC, and Joan Jett.
Angie Stevens & Friends
Angie Stevens & Friends
"Go on: Just try to find a single soul who's seen Angie Stevens live and not been completely entranced. Backed by a stellar cast of musicians, Stevens engages audiences in a way that makes every performance feel intimate, like she's playing her songs just for you. The amiable chanteuse has shared the bill with a wide array of performers and had every audience riveted by the end of each set. Hell, she's so compelling, we're pretty sure that her earnest acoustic-based rock could win over a Cephalic Carnage crowd. Bolstered by songs that are often chillingly poignant ("Judy," for example, a song about her mother), Stevens makes the icicles form on your spine the minute she takes the stage." Westword, Best Singer/Songwriter of Denver 2006
Bonnie & The Clydes
Bonnie & The Clydes
Bonnie Sims commands the stage with a natural presence of a songstress beyond her years. Now 31 years old, she has established herself as a hard working woman of this modern musical era, doing the majority of booking and managing for the band as well. Bonnie sings with a voice that seems too big for her petite (almost) five foot frame, belting to the back row wherever she is with heart and soul. Her energy is infectious and undeniable, she makes it easy to love and impossible to sit still, be it an emotional evoking ballad or a peel-the-paint country rocker. The band consists of Taylor Sims (Bonnie’s husband) on electric guitar and vocals, Glenn Taylor on Pedal Steel, Ben Wilson on bass guitar, and Todd Moore on drums. In addition to Taylor’s electric guitar and vocal contribution to the band, he and Bonnie also pool there songwriting talents to co-write many tunes that define the unique Bonnie & the Clydes’ sound.

In early 2011, Bonnie & the Clydes released their self titled debut album to much critical acclaim. The album became #18 in Colorado Sounds’ Best of 2011 year end review. They followed that one with WRONG SIDE UP, released in July 2012. In promoting WRONG SIDE UP, Bonnie & the Clydes worked with Bill Wence Productions out of Nolensville, TN. The album saw success on the AMA chart, reaching #30 and the single, "Dark Side of the Road", charted with New Music Weekly's country singles, reaching #30 as well. "Music for the People; Part 1" was released in early 2014. Their latest record, DEAR SOMEBODY, was the first all original endeavor for this songwrting duo. #BonnieandtheClydes has new music coming SPRING of 2019!!
Thanks,
Bonnie & the Clydes

The Humbuckers
The Humbuckers
One of Denver’s most exciting live bands, The Humbuckers never fails to get people up and dancing. With more than 25 shows under their belt at Herman’s Hideaway, The Humbuckers are road-tested Rock & Rollers with a high-octane set list and a V-8 delivery.

“They sound like the mix on my iPod” is a frequent comment you hear after seeing a Humbuckers show. They seamlessly roll songs from the 70s, 80s, 90s and 2000s into each other to create a tapestry of sound.

Founded in 2003 by guitarist Chuck Montera, their lineup includes Pamela Crawford on vocals, Classically trained Glenn Martin on bass, multi-instrumentalist Leslie Draper Roy on sax, flute and guitar and drummer Rick "Boom Boom" Samuels. Their originals are influenced by Punk and Grunge of the 80s/90s.

So next time you’re in Denver, stop by Herman’s Hideaway on south Broadway. You may be lucky enough to catch a Humbuckers show and maybe even share a beer or three with the band.
