Michael Chodosh, guitarist, singer/songwriter studied arranging and composition at Berklee College of Music in Boston. Currently he lives in the Denver Colorado area where he has performed as a single and as the lead singer/songwriter for the band "Cherry Veil", as the lead guitarist and vocalist with such performers as Steve Altermatt, Deb Schmidt-Lobis, Gayan Gregory Long's "Love Vibe Nation", Sherrie Scott, Dances of Universal Peace and a host of others. Before moving to the Denver area where he now runs CHODOSH GUITAR (guitar instruction) Michael was based out of Las Vegas Nevada where he performed an average of 6 nights a week at most of the casinos there for several years. Michael has spent the better part of his life recording in studios and performing concerts and shows at clubs throughout the United States with such groups as Rock Around the Clock, The Vision, Latin Fire, Forward Motion, The Freddie Bell Show, Legends in Concert, The Checkmates, My Brother and Me, The Sherman Gunn Big Band, The Steve Michaels Band, The Casa de Carr show, Shanakee, Skip Jourdan, After Touch, Lost in the Shuffle and many more. He has worked in; show, blues, country, rock, variety, folk, classical and ethnic bands and/or orchestras as a guitarist, vocalist and as an announcer or "M.C." Before moving to Las Vegas, Nevada, Michael ran the Chodosh Guitar and Music Theory School in Elko, Nevada. There he performed and composed pieces for the Northern Nevada Concert Orchestra, The American Cancer Foundation and The American Heart Foundation. He also held classes at the Northern Nevada Community College and was the principal founder of the Elko Jazz Festival which is still on-going today.
