Kurt Vatland aka Mountain Swamp Psychedelic/La Madness
Paving his own path known as "Indie Grind Blues" through the modern music world is Kurt Vatland. Escaping the Midwest to the West Coast, Texas and full circle again, Kurt has made refuge in Denver, Colorado. Vatland's music is great storytelling at it's core, from his original solo acoustic breakout in 2003 to his band 'La Madness' (see debut album 'Chances Are') his storytelling has risen to critical acclaim and since toured internationally. Having released the single "How Bad" from the long awaited La Madness follow up EP entitled "Love For Losers" with the help of returning producer Bryan Mengy and the likes of Huntley Miller (Lady Gaga, Trampled By Turtles, etc). Now at work on a new project under the narrative "Mountain Swamp Psychedelic" in Denver, Kurt looks to release a series of singles, poetry books, and the long awaited unreleased La Madness catalog in 2017 as well as other various unearthed recordings.
