Click Here to Listen to Phish Performing at Herman’s- April 18, 1990

This was Phish’s 1st show in Denver. It included the 1st known performance of Jagermeister. This rarity came about when the band refused to follow Fish’s high-hat intro to David Bowie, instead briefly reprising Lawn Boy followed by a Light Show Jam (paying tribute to Chris Kuroda with commentary and a “light solo”). The Light Show Jam led into Jagermeister, which was basically a funny tribute to and request for Jager shots that made the audience and band crack up laughing before they continued with the rest of David Bowie. This was the first show listed in the April/May/June 1990 Phish Update.
