Whiskey Tango
The band Whiskey Tango has been around the Denver area for close to a year but July of 2009 the original members (Ryan Hall, Bill Wells, Nate Todd) were introduced to a local Denver string band. (Zac Steinman, Matt Gallagher, Luke Kennedy) Since becoming a regular act at Quixotes in Denver the band has progressed and become a local favorite. Luke has since switched from the mandolin back to the drums to add to the classic rock sound that we can accomplish with drums. Working hand in hand together with Luke is Bill Wells on bass. Together they hold the rhythm during the structured and unstructured jams the band plays. Many of the original songs are written and sung by the talented keyboardist Nate Todd. Ryan Hall on mandolin also backs Nate up on many of the songs and while also singing a few originals of his own. Zac Steinman plays rhythm acoustic guitar along with exchanging lead solos with the other members of the band. Matt Gallagher on the electric is defiantly a sight to behold. Our live show is our staple at this point so in order to get the full Whiskey Tango effect you should try to get out to one of our shows.
