Progressive Rock with a Blues influence, that’s Slopeside. We have expanded our music beyond Denver to include more of the Front Range cities and Mountain communities. We have an original sound with a diverse group of musicians providing a versatile, exciting musical experience. Our music portrays our life journeys, hardships, free will and personal views. We recently finished recording our first album in March of 2008 titled “Paradigm”, referring to an eclectic collection of concepts, practices, and values that constitutes a way of viewing reality. We wanted to capture a CD title that reflects each of our songs and our views. Our influences are; the Beatles, Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, Fleetwood Mac, Mark Knopfler, and Alice in Chains to name a few. Last year (2007) Slopeside helped raise over $75,000 for Cancer Care. Having lost friends to cancer and having a member of our own who has battled cancer, we will always support the cause. We believe that this is what sets us apart from other bands. We are Proud of what we stand for and Proud to make Music!
Instrumentation

“Acoustic Current” is Slopeside’s Alter ego if you call it that. When Slopeside’s not Rockin the Roadhouses and Clubs we turn it down a notch “Acoustic”. Playing more intimate settings such as Coffee venues, Weddings, Fine Dinning and so on, Acoustic Current pulls out all the Song you most likely won’t hear us play at the Roadhouse’s.
