Colorado’s SlaughterHouse Rootz is: Wyatt on guitar and vocals, Heroic D on the 3-string, Kyle on drums, and Byrd on them THCFX. These boys really love to play good music, not just good, but the kind that gets the room moving …. with a mix of reggae, dub, and hip-hop SHR brings the party with them!
These four friends put many styles of music in a blender, and pour smiling stoney reggae bliss … whether it’s live or music dropped here on myspace it will always keep you dancing.
Freshly re-made in early June 2007, with completely new songs, new bass player, new effects master, and a new monster sound, the last several months have been nuts! SHR put out some tracks on our “not really a demo” CD that’s been floating around but are still working on records in between shows, so look out! SHR is all over Colorado, the party is bound to roll near you soon, keep irie!
They have performed at such venues as the Larimer Lounge, the Gothic Theater, Cervantes, the Buffalo Rose, the Marquis Theater, McClellan’s, Bushwackers, the Whitehouse, Dolcinea’s 100th monkey, Herman’s Hideaway, the Mystery Night Club, Quixote’s, the Hi-Dive, the Greenlight, and parties and patios all around Colorado.
