Silk N’ Steel

Silk N’ Steel, one of Colorado’s newest acoustic bands was formed in July 2009. Each of us brought different talents and instruments to the group, creating an acoustic fusion in addition to our 3 part harmonies. Silk N’ Steel performs a wide variety of cover songs from the 60’s and 70’s along with a modern cover thrown into the mix. In 2010, we spent 2 months in the studio creating a Free 5 cover song demo. Our professions are as different as our talents. Silk N’ Steel is comprised of an eye doctor, Realtor and bookkeeper. We have been very fortunate within the Denver music scene by being asked to perform at numerous restaurants & lounges, renowned Denver music venues, private parties, weekend wine tasting events and charity functions. We enjoy being the “opening” group for other bands and Denver area events. Silk N’ Steel brings great cover songs, high energy and fun times to the stage.
