Ossuary
Ossuary: a place or receptacle for the bones of the dead – a final resting place for human remains – ie: catacomb, crypt, mausoleum, coffin, urn.
We’re a 3-piece InstruMetal band (ah ha, you see what I did there, lol) from Denver, Colorado. The idea of Ossuary came from visiting many various catacombs throughout Europe, and the morbid imagry found in those places seemed like a match made in hell for heavy metal music.
With John’s background in classical guitar, Dave’s jazz drumming, and Chris’s punk/rock bass, the three have come together to share their love for the agressive dark tones of metal. The result: a red headed step child spawned from the likes of Slayer, Megadeth, Iron Maiden, and Opeth.
Our first record will be on it’s way soon!! Complete with updated & more instrumental friendly versions of the demos we have up available now, plus a ton more!! The countdown begins!!
