My God Micah
My god micah is an American indie rock band from Denver, CO consisting of lead vocalist and guitarist Micah Belshaw, vocalist and guitarist Matthew Vermillion, bassist Jacob Seal, and drummer Eric Doty. From the years 2007 to 2009 Matthew and Micah played in the Denver rock band Plan for Landing. After releasing the self-produced full-length album “A Brilliant Red” in 2009, they founded my god micah, adding Jacob and Eric to the group. Matthew, Micah, and Eric also play in Matthew Vermillion and The Take, a three piece in the style Gothic Americana. The groups imperative to create and play music is evident both in the content of the songs and in their performance. While Micah and Matthew contribute most of the songwriting, each member adds his own style and helps with the final arrangement of the songs to create a sound that is energetic, emotional, and thought provoking. Currently writing new material, the band plans to be very active in 2010 performing and recording new music. They expect to enter the studio sometime in the Spring.
