Lungs They Burn rose out of the proverbial ashes of now defunct Colorado bands to create a unique sound that even your mom will like. Influenced by a wide variety of artists including Sigur Ros, The Knife, Damien Rice, The Black Keys, We Are Scientists, and Portishead, Sean and Isaac knew from day one they had a good thing brewing. Practicing late into the musty Greeley night, Lungs They Burn set out to prove that you don’t need 20 minute guitar solos or 3 hour set lists to be an experimental group. Through high energy live shows that often include covers of artists ranging from Justin Timberlake to AC/DC to Martin Sexton, Lungs They Burn has been gaining steady recognition throughout Colorado’s local scene.
