Sometimes a name says it all. Lola, Spanish in origin – A strong female with a dangerous sensuality who knows what she wants and always gets it. Black – the darkest of colors, stylish, sexy, and powerful, with a hint of mystery.
Lola grew up a punk rock kid with a love for ska music and skateboarding. As she got older she got into singing, starting bar fights, raising a middle finger to all authority, and getting ready to set the world on fire through music!
Lola Black is the newest thing to the ever-growing colorado scene and promises to make some some serious waves in the music industry. Starting as a back-up singer and working her way to center stage Lola has already made guest appearances at some of Denver’s most prominate night spots including, 3kings Tavern, McDonoughs, The Gothic Theater, Benders Tavern and many more.
Influenced by rockers such as Joan Jett, and Betty Blowtorch, mixed with NOFX, 80’s metal and numerous other punk bands Lola Black creates a music that is hard to lump into one category but is easily accessable to all types of music fans. Be on the lookout, Lola is going to rip the face off of what you thought was cool in music!!!!!!!!!
