Guitar Player Magazine Columnist, Bay Area Record Producer and owner of Shrapnel, Blues Bureau and Tone Center Records, Mike Varney says “Arent’s demo reveals him to be a stunning player with a style some might call bluesion, straddling blues, jazz, and rock, and he has the ability to take long solos that are head-and-shoulders above most Stevie Ray Vaughanabees. There are lots of young guitarists who one day will likely be great, but 18-year-old Arent is already great.”
