Dottie started back in the winter of 2008, when Shane Miller added his percussive skills to Adam Blair’s already vast repertoire of songs and command over the six-string. From there they began refining and redefining their work into something that spoke to both their backgrounds and—greater still—their inherent love of folk music.
After a long and arduous search for a bassist with the right sense of style and fervor for their feel of music, they came across Clint Nordell; a man with the finger-plucking drive of a metal enthusiast combined with an innate kick of funk.
