Idiotfish

Idiotfish began with Donovan and Tyler drinking beer at our favorite watering hole (Park Tavern in Denver, CO). We had always humored the idea of starting a band. The opportunity arose for Tyler to acquire his first half stack. Donovan has known Bert (Bass) for over 20 years. Worked with him shortly on another project. They were confident the match had been made. The first few rehearsals we fumbled to find our sound. But Tyler, fortunetly already had a bunch of songs written and they fit extremely well. No longer did we flirt with the rumor but now it was set in stone, as a great 3 piece. After only 5 weeks we decided to book studio time and of coure no better place than Module Overload Studios (http://www.myspace.com/moduleoverloadstudio). Donovan has a long history with Jamie. Recording albums with Denver greats such such as Invisible Orange and back-up vocals with Denvers Workhorse. With Tylers experience with Jim Dalton (Railbenders) and Seattle’s Upsoyo, he was ready to be a part of this new project. With Berts experience as a legenary Denver musical engineer and incredible bass player the tone was set. Within four hours at Module Overload, Idiotfish created our first 3 song demo. We hope you enjoy lintening to it as much as we enjoyed recording it. Looking forward to our first show. Thank you for visiting our site and new info soon to come.
