Dielectric Sound
Dielectric Sound tunes have been resonating Colorado stages since 2008 with their bluesy southern-rock sound. The band members include Keane Sumner as lead guitarist, lead vocalist and lyricist, Andrew Merriam as lead guitarist, lead vocalist and lyricist, Joe Dorr as bass guitarist and background vocalist, and Caleb Tucker as percussionist. Their recordings include their 2009 release, "Bald Bull EP, and their latest 2010 release, “Five Liars,” which encapsulates their range of sound. With their alternative southern-rock sound, they embody the lyrical story telling of Hank Williams with a hint of Jack White’s progressive song writing. Audiences are consistently impressed with the range of their lyrics and sounds, combined with their harmonizing vocals. Dielectric Sound band members developed their excitement for music as young children, and throughout the years, they have honed their craft and defined themselves individually as musicians. This individuality combined with their passion for performing, electrifies the room. Their musical influences are moe., The Allman Brothers, Red Hot Chili Peppers and Buddy Guy.
