Chances are, if you’ve been around a few decades, the music you listen to every day is heavily influenced by legendary men and women of Blues – like BB King, Junior Wells, Etta James and Koko Taylor- which have been adapted and advanced by contemporary artists from Led Zeppelin and ZZ Top to Stevie Ray Vaughn, Eric Clapton, Jonny Lang, Susan Tedeschi, The Black Crowes, Robert Cray, John Mayer, Melissa Etheridge and many others. You may think of these artists and songs as simply “rock-and-roll,” and that’s okay. But all rock music has blues in its soul.
Blues Torch explores all these influences and makes these tunes our own. The result is a high-energy, powerful and sure to get your feet stompin’. Our trademark is sizzling female vocals backed by blazing guitars, big keyboard sounds, sax riffs and rhythm section as tight as the pants you wore in high school.
