Blue Foot Fool
The BLUE FOOT FOOL is a Denver-based Rock and Roll band formed in February of 2009 when drummer Jeremy Bell joined bassist/vocalist Jesse Christensen and guitarist Matt Brown to complete a power trio. Heavily influenced by classic and grunge era rock, the Blue Foot Fool incorporates strong hooks into songs that are generated around Christensen’s bass riffs. Bell’s powerful, straightforward; “Bonhamesque” drumming lays a rock-solid foundation that never lets the music down. Brown incorporates elements of great lead-guitar voicing while maintaining a tasteful sense of purpose so as to not venture into directionless meandering. While employing elements of R & B, soul, hip-hip, jazz, funk and rock bass technique, Christensen also mixes in a lead and rhythm guitar style that results in one of the more extraordinary bass styles in the Denver area. Christensen’s’ vocal work relies on catchy hooks and sensible lyrical content that reflects
his views on self, society, and the human condition. Blue Foot Fool hopes to create music through live shows and recorded sound that can keep a listener’s interest and focus by maintaining an easily recognizable theme from song to song while still executing minor improvisational elements from performance to performance and recording to recording.
