There’s a lot of history here: Biff was originally formed in the summer of 1997 with Cory Jensen on drumming, Joe Dandurand playing bass and Dave Peterson on guitar and vocals. Like most shitty teenage bands, they sucked ass. Realizing this, Cory Jensen soon told them to go to hell. He quit, and with in days the universe provided them with “beat visionary” Matt Alvord. They soon improved vastly and gained many fans. By the summer of 2002 they had “released” five critically acclaimed albums, including an ever popular Christmas album entitled “Bifmas”. It seemed though that life was pulling them apart. Dave and Matt joined forces to create Apsis and Joe went on to become a crane operator. Biff was always a band interested in having fun and enjoying life and music. Remembering the “good ol biff days”, in early 2006 Dave decided to get the band back to create a reunion album they called “Biff Returns”. It was so much fun they then concluded that the people of Earth needed Biff. So the band reunited with Dave Peterson now drumming and singing, Joe Dandurand on Bass, and newcomer Seth Yannacone on guitar. They are here to rock…and rock they shall. Biff’s philosophy is simple really, and the essence of it lies in their name: don’t be afraid to “BIFF”, “it’s okay to make mistakes”, some mistakes can be beautiful.. This takes the pressure off of them as musicians and they are free to just be themselves and express what ever comes through. They don’t place limitations on their music. Their repertoire is as big and expansive as their imagination. No genre is off limits (whether their talent will abide it or not). It is their hope that people will be drawn to their daring nature. They hope their brave-hearts will yield their listeners with something enjoyable. So thanks for visiting, and have a laugh on Biff.
